Homemade Immunity boosting drinks to Fight against Corona Virus

In the current situation of COVID 19 we should keep our body hydrated by drinking lot of warm water and homemade drinks which will boost your immune system and help you to fight against Corona Virus or any other disease.

3  Homemade Immunity Boosting Drinks 

1. Turmeric Water
     
    
     

Turmeric is an ancient Indian Spice that has now become a global sensation for its healing properties. It is known to boost immunity and prevent from free radical damages as it has anti- bacterial and anti- viral properties.

You can make turmeric water by adding few more spices or ingredients  to give this drink double boost..

Steps to make turmeric water:

  • take 2 cups of water ( as per you requirement)
  • add 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder (kitchen haldi)
  • add 3- 4 slices of fresh ginger root
  • boil it for 2 to 3 minutes ( than remove from the heat and stain in a clean glass)
  • add 1 teaspoon honey
  • add 1/4 teaspoon of black paper (optional)
  • lastly squeeze half a slice of lemon into it 
This drink will not only boost your immunity but it will also keep your lungs clean and improve your overall health.

Best time to drink turmeric water is in the morning on empty stomach so that your body may get the anti- inflammatory and antibacterial benefits

(Note: you can drink turmeric water only once in a day specially in the morning)
 
You can also eat turmeric mixed with honey as they offer a multitude of health benefits as you all know that turmeric is a great for our body as it contain vitamin c and honey is known for its healing properties. It is well known to treat many stomach related problems cures allergies, cough, cold etc. plus both this ingredients boost your Immune System.

2. Tulsi Water 

     

Tulsi is another herb that has anti- inflammatory and antibacterial properties.

For best results you can eat two fresh Tulsi leaves in morning on empty stomach as it will help you to improve your immune system or else you can drink Tusli water in the morning to keep your immunity level high.

Steps to make Tulsi Water:

  • add 5 to 8 Tulsi Leaves in the boiling water 
  • boil it for 3 to 5 minutes (after that remove from the heat and strain in a glass)
  • add 1/2 teaspoon of Honey and enjoy the goodness of tulsi water.

3. Lemon and Honey Water
       


Honey and lemon water  is also excellent for increasing immunity. Drinking this water on a regular basis will bring down in you instances of cold and flu and other allergies.

steps to make Lemon and Honey Water:
  • take a glass of luke warm water
  • squeeze half a slice of lemon into it 
  • add 1 teaspoon of honey 
This water will help you to remove harmful toxins from your body thus making you feel fit and Healthy.
